Description
Fort Henry Guard parade with Marine Battle Color Detachment. Civilians and foreign officers line the parade field. Civilians and a Canadian Army Captain, possibly Fort Henry Guard Captain Douglas H. Thompson, enter the fort. Members of the Fort Henry Guard enter the fort, followed by Director of Fort Henry Ronald L. Way, an unidentified civilian, and a Marine Brigadier General (possibly S. K. Bird). The unidentified civilian and the Brigadier General shake hands and have their photograph taken. The Fort Henry Guard and band march on the parade ground, along with the Guard's mascot "David the Goat". The Fort Henry Guard goes through the manual of arms. The Marine Battle Color Detachment enters the fort. The Union Jack adorns the walls of the fort. Content related to USMC 103365.
