Ships leaving harbor at Lahania, Hawaii in May 1944, including USS Pierce (APA-50), and activities on the ship are also shown. Airfield at Eniwetok in June 1944. Battle on Saipan with the 5th Amphibious Corps, including tanks and Marines patrolling in the field, Marines setting up camp, examining a Japanese radio, and assisting with local civilian prisoners. TBF flies overhead, and ships are shown off the coast.
