Description: Two teachers discuss the basic uses of the oscilloscope for calibration, timing and demonstration. They consider uses of various controls, calibration of a xenon strobe, checking the speed of a camera shutter, displaying beats between two audio oscillators and two ultrasonic oscillators, using lissajous figures to measure unknown frequencies and the use of two-axis modulation.
