Texas Western received a Federal Grant of $146,000 from the Office of Economic Opportunity for an on-campus "Upward Bound" program to provide pre-college training to bright but culturally and economically deprived children. This film sets the problem in its national perspective and depicts how the problem is being approached by the program at one U. S. campus.
