Complete Record: Presents a study of an unconventional young boy who is temporarily persuaded to accept others' viewpoints as his own. ***YOUNG BOY IS ANIMATED*** Boy stands on his hands instead of his feet. He sees the world differently, and as a spectacularly beautiful place. As a nonconformist and a puzzlement to teachers and parents, he is sent for medical tests and “fixing.” The various fixes the boy goes through might be useful as they involve: lobotomy, traction, injections, brain washings, etc. The boy emerges standing on his feet, but then the world -- shown in real photographs -- is ugly, war-driven, prejudiced, etc. He goes back to his hands.
