Uncle Smiley Goes Up River

[Music] buy up and [Music] like a carnival he's a part of the town when to [Music] be get up [Music] and get up and [Music] remember last week when we all went out with Uncle Smiley on the boat ride I'll say that sure was some fun all right but it wasn't just a regular boat ride yeah we'd all been on boats before but this time was really special cuz the people in our town were all getting together to clean up the [Music] river there's the first mate right there and there's the captain too boy they sure knew a lot about both some water and [Music] things hey watch this here comes Uncle Smiley running down the pier with all our life jackets and stuff [Music] I guess he wanted to make sure the life jackets worked all right yeah a life preserver that won't flow it isn't much [Music] good I guess the first mate wanted to test them too the captain was nice but he didn't last very much [Music] leaving in the morning going for River ride and [Music] smile and [Music] all cleaning up the river abtain time to clean the river all the we're to clean the River on the Captain G gave the orders to the first who knew what to do and gave instructions to the crew sailing up the river sa River sink be River drink River be a clean and healthy River the river used to be a place where you could swim but now you wouldn't let the tou your skin from Pap river river see beow now it's you know garbage cans and pretty PL can only work with to you and it's to me it's time to save the river we finally joined up with the other people from the town town they were already busy cleaning up the trash along the shore the captain told us the best place is to start cleaning and we got to work there was all kinds of stuff along the shore Rusty cans and boards with nails and broken bottles and even pieces of old cars and boats some of this stuff was so big and heavy you couldn't even carry it all by herself I wonder how some of that stuff got there in the first place [Music] there was junk and trash [Music] everywhere we put everything we found in big giant piles so that when the men came by in the trucks later they wouldn't have any trouble picking it up [Music] deep sea I were a fish swi in the deep sea If I Were A F you see tell everyone of what I see floating in the Deep se you see and the rivers that flow through the sea she blows floating down the river and linum PS sailing down the river sewer TRS and ugly stains dirt CR and pass it's sad to see what used to be a clean and healthy River you know lots of people still can't understand why we're so worried about the river they ought to take a boat ride sometime like we did everybody's just been dumping trash and things in the rivers and thinking it would all just go away but it doesn't go away it just fills up the rivers and kills all the plants and fish the captain told us that pretty soon there might not be any fish Left Alive anywhere in the world even in the oceans fish are pretty I like fish fish are ding everywhere dying in the riv po stain the riv it is a crying what to the riv it doesn't matter who's to blame it's time to save the r [Music] things were really going well until Uncle started goofing up again yeah he never looked what he was doing with that old inner tube [Music] the captain really liked that but even that was nothing to when he kicked over the oil can [Music] w wow wow wow wow [Music] boy was the captain mad this time everybody knows oil is one of the things that pollutes rivers and oceans the most well he made Uncle Smiley and us clean up every drop of oil from the deck before it spilled into the water is done we're heading home time to leave the river but the job has just begun cleaning up the river it's not a simple thing to do we'll need a lot of help from you and everyone Sun Time To The River [Applause] that's her Uncle [Music] Smiley you bet it is n [Music]
