Uncle Ezra & The Hoosier Hot Shots - Musical Alka-Seltzer Spots, 1937 | 16mm Film Scan

Film of three Alka-Seltzer advertisement spots from Radio Station EZRA, featuring Uncle Ezra and The Hoosier Hot Shots. My best estimate on a date is ~1937, based on the 30/60 cent pricing, and there was also a Alka Seltzer/Uncle Ezra Musical booklet released that year.

Being color (I believe 2-color Cinecolor), these ads would have been produced for movie theaters rather than television.

Uncle Ezra (Pat Barrett) was an entertainer and radio station host of station E-Z-R-A, hosting the National Barn Dance playing what would become known as country music.

Snippet from newspaper ad: "You'll enjoy the philosophy and quaint humor of this old man with young ideas. One of the best loved characters in radio, in a program that's DIFFERENT. Never a dull minute. The Hoosier Hot Shots supply the music. 'Nuff said."
