Two Mountains: Alps and Andes

Complete Record: In order to show how two different cultures have created two distinct mountain lives, this film contrasts the life of a Swiss Alpine dairy farmer with that of a terrace farmer from the Peruvian Andes. In their farming methods, transportation systems, contacts with the outside world, sense of tradition, and economic structures, these two physically similar, but vastly different regions are compared.
