Description: Doris Chu, a recently-divorced Chinese American mother with two daughters, has plastic surgery to make her eyes rounder. In so doing, Doris feels she will get a new grip on life. From her teenage daughter's point of view, however, her mother's re-shaped eyes equal two lies. To speed Doris' recuperation, the family spends time at a desert resort and visits a tourist attraction claiming to be an authentic Indian pueblo. At both locales, a series of revelations and heated confrontations erupt.
