Two laws. Part 3: Struggle for our land

Part 3 of a 4-part innovative film entitled “Two laws” which deals with the Borroloola people’s struggle for the recognition of their law. Describes attachment to land, conflict over sacred sites, the 1977 Borroloola land claim and the bargaining strategy of the people with the government, the cattle stations and the mining company. The other parts of the film are “Police times”, “Welfare times”, “Living with two laws”. Suitable for middle and upper secondary levels.
