Trio For Three Angles

Duration: 8

Year Published: 1968

Creator: INTL. FILM BUREAU

Format: 16mm

Description: Colorful animation, set to a lively musical background, is used to investigate three types of triangles. In individual sequences, equilateral, isosceles, and scalene triangles move and change to compare the sizes of the angles, to show that the sum of the angles equals a semi-circle, and to compare the lengths of the sides. A visual interplay of the triangles, where the shapes grow and extend from each other, provides repeated examples of the concepts and illustrates the ideas presented. (without narration)
