Description: The Casa Verdi in Milan was founded by the composer Giuseppe Verdi and opened in 1902. Verdi pledged all his future royalties from performances of his works to go to the support of this home for retired composers, singers, and musicians. This film takes a look at the residents of the house and the spirit of performance which is still an important part of their lives. Reminiscences of their careers in the Italian theater are interwoven with musical performances by some of these unique artists.
