Description: Episode of Series “Chronicle”. With the discovery in 1977 of Royal Tombs in the Greek village of Vergina, Greek archaeologist Manolis Andronikos uncovered the greatest prize left in Greek archaeology - the tomb of Philip II of Macedon. Shows the magnificent objects found inside the tomb including a mural believed to be the work of the ancient artist Nico Marco and examines the work and theories of the archaeologist.
