Based on the short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe. Deals with a woman whose will of evil is so powerful that it survives her after her death and influences her living husband and his new bride. Stars Vincent Price.
Verden Fell (Vincent Price) is both mournful and threatened by his first wife's death. He senses her reluctance to die and her near-blasphemous statements about God. The spirit of Fell's first wife Ligeia seems to haunt the old mansion/abbey where they live.
