Complete Record: Three western shorts. 1.) Hopalong Cassidy (Bill Boyd) in “Three on the Trail” 1949 A group of bandits sabotage the trail and shoot some men off of their wagon. Hopalong Cassidy and friends save the day by tracking down the bandits. There is a big shoot out in the small western town that lasts into the night. Bombs, guns and fires destroy some buildings and men are shot down. 2.) “Blazing Guns” Story of the Todd brothers who are cattle thieves and head the lawless group, ‘Rawhide’. Cowboys stealing cattle in a stream. A ranch is ambushed and some cowboys are on the lookout. A cowgirl warns the town and they prepare. Some bandits break out of jail in a fire fight. There is a big shoot out in town and the cattle are brought back. 3.) “Bar 20 Rides Again” starring Hopalong Cassidy. 1949 A mysterious, black jacketed outlaw starts harassing ranchers and causing a ruckus. Cassidy and friends try to figure him out and eventually have a show down and a big shoot out on a ranch. The strange outlaw is gunned down by a dying man.
