This is Ham Radio

Describes some of the lure of ham radio, and discusses licensing requirements, low-cost rigs, and the relative ease of earning a novice class ticket from the FCC and getting on the air. Includes scenes of young people operating mobile rigs, testing emergency gear, relaying messages across the ocean, and talking with friends across town.
