The time is today—Everyplace, U.S.A. The principal characters Roy and Julie, two young people who work in the same factory and plan to marry. Tuberculosis interrupts their plans to Everytown's health facilities go into action. We see modern tuberculosis finding, diagnosis, hospitalization. Roy has advanced tuberculosis. Julie is eventually assigned to attend one of the tuberculosis sanatorium. We see some characteristic tuberculosis activities and the close working relationship of voluntary and official health forces. The time comes at last when Roy and Julie are able to realize their plans for a home of their own.
