Complete Record: Shows scenes of Netsilik Eskimos of the Canadian Arctic at their winter sea ice camp. Includes scenes of the children at play. Shows the Eskimos building a large ceremonial igloo, hunting seal, participating in trials of strength for men and games for women, story-telling, juggling, engaging in the drum dance, and sharing seal meat. A look at Netsilik communal activities. A ceremonial igloo is built with individual igloos in the community forming an alcove. The men return to their sealing and the women play with the children.
