Discusses early 20th century Mexican muralism which returned art to the people as in the days of the Mayans. Visits many of the great murals, including those in the ruins of a Mayan temple in Cacaxtla. Briefly chronicles the life of Luis Barragan and his master works, buildings inspired by European modernism yet retaining a Mexican flavor through his choice of colors.
