Description: Produced by Bob Bailey Productions, this 1975 promotional film previews a six-film series in which Houston Cougars Head Coach Bill Yeoman outlines the “Veer T” offensive technique that he developed in the 1960s. “A chalk clinic on film,” Yeoman details different variations of the veer technique. Yeoman served as Houston’s head coach from 1962 to 1986. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001. Formed in the mid-1930s, the Houston-based Bob Bailey Productions produced mostly industrial and educational films for area oil, natural gas, and petrochemical companies, but also made newsreels for Fox and Movietone.
