In 986 A.D. Erik the Red and his Vikings left Iceland and establish settlements in Greenland that were thought to be continuously occupied for 500 years before suddenly ceasing to exist. Traces Erik’s travels, using sagas as well as archaeological evidence. Suitable for upper primary and lower secondary levels.
