An old man jumps off of the tower, in an apparent stunt or suicide attempt... wierd. A couple flies off in a hot air balloon. The Wright brothers demonstrate their prototype airplane. This Paris of the 1910’s is powered by horse drawn carriages and steam powered trains and cars. Newsreel shots of a convicted Parisian spy. Turn of the century Parisians (victorian) Parisians bustle about on the streets. Shots of Kaiser Vilhelm pre-WWII, seemingly hobnobbing with French politicians. Neat slow motion shot of French aristocrats and their families. A man takes a shower outdoors... interesting and very dated. Bourgois families go on country outings with their wagons... an old French painter smoking a cigarrette... another old painter. Archival footage of Rodan the impressionist... al of these painters are famous impressionists. Archival footage of George Bernard Shaw arguing with some other intellectuals. A vaudeville show: a midget dances around wearing a pair of very long shoes... a man wearing a sombrero dances with two senoritas, two men with canes dance.
