Currently known as the Texas Runaway Hotline, the confidential 24 hour call line serves the state of Texas exclusively and provides runaways, potential runaways and their families with a variety of informational, counseling, and crisis intervention services. The Runaway Problem offers a heart-wrenching look at the challenging experiences of runaways and their families as well as the support services offered by the Texas-based Runaway Hotline in the early 1980s.
