Description: Examines the traditions and skills which lie behind the clay pottery produced in the village of Buur Heybe. Explains the local tradition that a woman first found clay, and her husband first learned how to use it, and since that time only women dig the clay and only men make and decorate the pots. Follows the process of digging and sifting the clay, the throwing, decorating and firing of the pots, and discusses some of the uses of the pots.
