Description: Ppuppet animation is used to tell the story of the Emperor who finds a living treasure in his own garden, the nightingale. Transfixed by the bird's song, the Emperor makes the plain nightingale a permanent guest in his ornate palace. When the Emperor replaces the bird with a mechanical jewel-encrusted substitute, the nightingale shows why a living bird is more valuable.
