Description: This 1960s industrial film presented by IBM Supplies Division introduces engineers to the company’s micro-processing system. Rather than produce, store, and copy large engineering drawings, the jazzy film asks, why not instead reproduce engineering drawings on microfilm, and then use the IBM Micro-Copier to transfer that image to micro-processing cards that can be more conveniently copied, distributed, and filed? Robert Yarnall Richie, who produced and directed this film, was a freelance industrial photographer and filmmaker who worked with various large corporations in Texas and around the globe.
