Observes him encountering a magic tree which he cannot pass and from which a strange person is released each time the tree is pulled on. Records that the last to be released is a princess who rewards the child with looks and wealth, stipulating that he tell no one the mystery of the magic tree and concludes with the boy revealing the secret to his family. Stimulates discussion by questioning why the boy would risk the love and security of his paradise to honor the inquisitiveness of a family who showed him no love.
