Description: Sewing crafts and artistic film animation are techniques used as threads and yarns sew visions of filmmaker's Hometown. Visions are conjured by the original folk ballad sung to the guitar accompaniment., In this unique short production, the filmmaker creates a striking effect by animating a series of tapestries composed of crewel and cloth appliques. Longing for the simple ways and friendly faces back home, a city girl sings a plaintive blues ditty recalling small town life and the folks she left behind.
