Description: *Being from the 1930s, this cartoon does contain some offensive depictions.* The Legend of Sleepy Hollow's The Headless Horseman, as directed by Ub Iwerks for his ComiColor series of cartoons. Originally released on October 1 of 1934. Score by Carl Stalling. The cartoon follows Katrina Van Tassel and her two suitors, Brom Bones and Ichabod Crane. Unfortunately couldn't do anything about the large scratch at the end, 're-painting' that is still out of my wheelhouse for now at least! *Please contact regarding usage* While originally a two-color Cinecolor print, this copy was a late 1970s release from Blackhawk Films. As such it was on red faded Eastmancolor stock, did my best restoring the color. The print also just wasn't great, on the softer side and unevenly lit, with bright areas washed out. Did what I could to improve. If you go to my channel's "posts" tab, I have a photo of before/after. An original static Cinecolor "The End" screen was only visible for 1 frame on the film, I extended that in place of the Blackhawk logo that logo to have it closer to the original.
