The Greatest Mother

Year Published: 1934

Creator: William J. Ganz Company

Description: Silent (soundtrack added) film produced by the William J. Ganz Company circa 1934, "The Greatest Mother" serves as an introduction and overview of the American Red Cross; primarily it covers what services the organization does. I presume the film was silent as it could reach a wider audience; the average school or church, for example, would not have had a sound projector at this time. The film was quite scratched, as well as a bit warped and has the beginnings of vinegar syndrome. The majority of the intro title is missing, and an end title is likely missing as well. *Please reach out regarding usage* Soundtrack added, songs from LoC Jukebox Siegmund's Love Song - Richard Wagner My Dream Girl - Victor Herbert Broken Hearted Melody - Isham Jones Lohengrin Fantasie - Richard Wagner
