A tour of the western states of America, taking in San Francisco, Virginia City, left to die after the gold rushes, Salt Lake City, home of the Mormons, the surrounding “dinosaur country”, the splendour of a Grand Canyon sunset, the vast deserts of New Mexico, exciting Los Angeles with its Disneyland and Hollywood studios, and finally a trip up the majestic Pacific coast.
