you is anybody there she is that's Molly Goldberg folks a woman with a place in every heart and a finger in every pie and now the makers of new does that new kind of soap for everything right down your wash line bring you another visit with those good folks the gold friends today even amid the thundering crash of total war we in America have much to be thankful for I know that many of you have spent past Thanksgiving surrounded by all of your family and that now perhaps your sons and husbands and sweethearts are far away but just remember Thanksgiving Day lives in the hearts of all Americans wherever they are and even though you may be separated from those you love as Americans you are together with them in spirit giving thanks to those who founded our country and fought for it to them as to our own young men we owe more than anyone can say so let us Americans celebrate this Thanksgiving Day and I hope that soon we may be giving new thanks to God and to our fighting men for the victory that is sure to come and now friends Procter and Gamble the makers of does have asked me to send you their thanksgiving greetings and good wishes we're glad you like and enjoy this program and we want you to know that we appreciate the interest you have shown in it and now the Goldbergs well today is Thanksgiving and the children were only at the Goldbergs for the morning session Molly's nursery school for the children of women working in defense plants is going along fine except for a little drama which is mounting up on the side that is it involves the pretty assistant to Molly in this work Miriam Morris who has been going out with a man of whom the town general disapproves the mothers of the children are beginning to object and today Molly learns how much woman I'm ready darling I'm ready my Bruce is getting Malaysian all right darling come ready legit fee I'll be ready in just one minute dolly Rosalie the cranberries for mrs. throw bland I have them all right on Jake dear only one turkey got a little boy in town one ring burned on that point let's go all right darling I'm ready in a minute darling don't make me nervous please I just have to pack up mrs. Goldberg yes Tommy does the first time Sam is not home he finished the school sorry when Tessa espa greement sure can't use engineers now sure can use everybody you said it tell you one thing I learned what step tell me well I'm no politician I guess I'm too young to be one but I know one thing we people were pretty happy in this country because we were free from aggression overseas that people never were and that's why they're always building armies well let me tell you everybody every country every person has a right to live free from the fear of aggression free from all fears when this war is over it's gonna be that kind of a world I'll bet you I agree did indeed indeed coming well I guess kind of preaching what he comes home feels like he knows something were you doing don't forget it well it's as far as I go Oh would you take this box and set in the kitchen mrs. Trowbridge sure we wrote the turkeys for all the women working in the defense plans just trying to help you boys you are it's good to come home and see people really caring about what's happening working and helping makes a fellow fight twice as hard and twice as hard we'll finish this war twice as quick and well thanks for the lift all right happy thanksgiving here to dolly to you too nice boy very very nice boy you know very nice boy yes that's something else to be thankful for mr.
