The Gift

Documents the work done by Marc Chagall and Michel Thurin over a period of two years to create Chagall's Four Seasons mosaic which was presented as a gift to the people of Chicago. Shows the interaction between Chagall and Thurin, the mosaicist. Includes discussions with the curator of the Chagall Museum who points out the difficulties of translating a work of art from one medium to another.
