It provides an introduction to the vocabulary of the computing field as well as an orientation to the possibilities and limitations of the computer. Designed for viewers with little or no prior experience with computers. Aims to provide a general introduction to the uses and functions of computers for students not familiar with the potential or limits of computers, to define and explain the basic terms used within the field of computing and to illustrate various applications of microcircuitry: calculators, digital watches, large and small computers and others.
