The Children of Mary Cassatt

Features the work of American Impressionist Mary Cassatt, who was both popular and financially successful enough to support herself with her work. Her paintings, such as "Little Girl in a Blue Armchair," depicted scenes from everyday life, and her family was the model for many such images. By the early 20th Century, her sight began deteriorating, but she continued to exhibit her art and worked with art dealers.
