Complete Record: A psychologist, Dr. Carl Rogers, sits next to a lamp and speaks to the camera about his psychotherapy patient, Mr. Lynn who is a homosexual. Mr. Lynn, dressed in a cardigan and Buddy Holly type glasses muses on the confusion associated with being gay. The camera pans back and forth between the two subjects. The doctor leaves the room while the camera stays positioned on Mr. Lynn. Mr. Lynn lights up a cigarette while slouched in his seat. He is interviewed about why he is afraid of asking out girls, namely the demands made on him by society to do so. He talks about how labeling himself as queer automatically puts him in a group that is socially unacceptable. He takes his glasses off and holds them to his mouth and gesticulates while he smokes and talks about his occasional attraction to women and then elaborates more on the lack of social acceptance.
