It is the story of Mike Owens who started his apprenticeship as a young boy, and who, a few years later, came to Libbey Glass Company as a glass blower with dreams which eventually revolutionized the industry. The broad scope of the present Owens-Illinois organization is depicted, together with the various types of products made at each plant.
