Description: Transcription: Texaco worker Back about eight years ago 0:03 when Texaco decided they needed some of their people 0:04 working full-time on pollution control 0:07 they asked me to get involved. 0:09 The plant's about the biggest thing in the area. 0:12 So when people see or smell anything in the air, 0:14 they call Texaco. 0:17 I listen, then I check out the plant in the area, 0:19 then I go see them. 0:21 With the work that's been done at this plant 0:24 we're able to meet all the pollution control standards 0:25 set by the state. 0:28 So we're not very often accused. 0:30 But people knowing they have someone to call, they call. 0:32 Actually, what may look like pollution to them 0:36 is most always steam and I can explain the situation. 0:38 I'm about to retire now, but I'll be living in the area, 0:44 so I'll keep a check on how my replacement's doing. 0:48 Announcer We're working to keep your trust. 0:54
