Description: Shows children's reactions to the new methods of mathematics teaching used in the Nuffield Mathematics Teaching Project in England. Tells how teacher's centers were set up in connection with the project in order to give teachers an opportunity to discuss their problems and solutions with others, and to experiment with new materials and methods. States that there are many good ways of teaching 'MODERN MATH,' as long as they make the children think for themselves, but that the beginning must always be made slowly.
