Tall Ship on Deep Waters

Presents a young people's cruise from San Francisco to Hawaii and back in a small sailing ship. The young sailors are shown practicing their new knowledge of navigation, and animated maps and models show the route followed, the effect of the trade winds and horse latitudes, and the use of sails to utilize the motive power of the wind.
