Description: Presents a pioneer woman telling her two children the story of a raccoon as he seeks out the groundhog for information about the coming of spring. Shows the raccoon coming upon a variety of animals in his hunt for the groundhog. Pictures him finally meeting the groundhog which, failing to see his shadow, returns to his hole.
