Complete Record: Bill Hightower narrates this film. The film is a collection of scenes describing various pastimes, hobbies, or occupations of different people. The first scene depicts a cowgirl or rancher. She is on her rounds for the day, tending to a herd of cows on a farm. She feeds the cows and watches over them while they roam pastures. Second scene follows a man who discovers uses for Spanish dagger plant as lubricant (machine guns) and rubber substitute. Third scene is about Louis Zimmerman, who likes to build model cities with operating cars and people in miniature size. Next, is a village blacksmith in Costa Mesa who creates vehicular models (stagecoaches, 20-mule team covered wagons). Followed by a rancher raising antelope. Last scene is about a carpenter's hobby in Denver: embroidery of reproducing famous paintings or images. Close up shots reveal the embroidery of the American flag and a reproduction of the painting, “The Last Supper.”
