The champion of the Northwoods demonstrates his prowess with an axe by shaving a man with a double-edged axe, he then hurls five pound axes at the end of a log from fifty feet. Soil-less flower gardens, using chemicals in water, are shown. In Astoria Oregon, where the Columbia River meets the ocean, horses are used to pull huge seines loaded with salmon from the river.
