Complete Record: Helene has now married Ray, the man she met in the provious film. There relationship is warm and caring, but is strained by the squabbles between Helene’s children and Ray’s son. Alan has also remarried, and he and his wife have a new baby. The wife resents the extra work involved in the regular Saturday visits from Alan’s children. Alan is worried that he’s losing contact with his children. Helene is buoyed to find that some of her old friends who avoided her after the divorce are interested in seeing her again now that she’s respectably remarried.
