Description: In this animated work, the story suggested is that of the bewitching hour of midnight. Abstract renditions of spooks and ghosts rise from their graves to cavort about and make merry.

Complete Record: An expressionistic interpretation of “Danse macabre” by Camille Saint-Saens. Conventional cel animation and pen drawings were done by Norman McLaren directly on 35 mm film stock.
