Description: This home movie footage captures various important family events throughout 1963, possibly in Madison County. The first part of the video shows all of the children rushing to hunt for Easter eggs. Later young Will celebrates his tenth birthday, topped with a golf-themed cake. Most of the footage shows kids trying their hand at horseback riding in full cowboy gear. Little else is known about the film. Found by a dumpster in south Austin, it is considered an orphan film—an archival term used to describe audiovisual materials either without clear copyright holders or abandoned by their original owners.
