Color shot of a miniature train station with a sign reading “Joy Town R.R.” People gather around as a man in a suit hammers a railroad spike for a tiny train track. Several adults and children ride on a miniature steam train around a park. The train goes through a wooden tunnel and around the track several times. Title for “Live Steamers Railroad Meet, Oxford Me. Aug. 3, 1935.” Black and white footage of adults riding on a tiny steam train that runs on an elevated track. Title card for another meet up, and more people ride on the tiny train. People ride the train at a third meet up and the train is inspected, disassembled and cleaned. At other meet ups, the train runs backwards. Titles for “New England Live Steamers, Inc.” and “N.E.L.S. Meeting Sept. 3, 1939” Color footage of men riding on similar tiny steam trains.
