Description: Teaching Film Custodians abridged classroom version of a Cavalcade of America television series episode, "Six Hours to Deadline" (season 3, episode 24), which originally aired on May 24th, 1955 on ABC-TV. While illustrating the daily process of publishing a small-town newspaper, the film presents the ethical problem faced by the editor, who must decide whether to publish or to suppress a newsbeat which will bring sorrow to an innocent and respected citizens of the community.
