Description: A Japanese language film. Presents Tolstoy's fairy story about the great bear made with shadow-pictures. Tells the story of a kind-hearted girl in a village where the people had been suffering from a long drought and how she prayed sincerely for rain until her long-cherished wish was at last realized. Explains that since then, the villagers believed the beautiful twinkle of the great bear in the north sky is that of this tender little girl's heart.
