Seattle 4th of July Parade, 1947 – Restored Color Footage| 16mm Film Scan

Description: Silent 16mm Home Movie dating to 1947 of the Independence Day parade held in Seattle, Washington. This was shot on Ansochrome which does not hold up to time very well, film was very heavily faded red so I corrected & restored the footage the best I could. Light stabilization applied as well. Showcases a number of iconic buildings such as The Humphrey apartments, Bethel Temple, Seattle Radio Supply Co Starts off showing the Philippine Independence floats, as the Philippines became independent on July 4, 1946.
